Municipal library of Kutná Hora

Due to its historical monuments such as the Church of St. Barbora the town of Kutná Hora became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In spite of this, the town's cultural institutions lack adequate facilities. The proposed design places the new public library on a vacant lot next to the Sokol Club gym. Located between the train station and the historical centre of the town, the public library forms an imaginary gateway to the town's culture.
