COMPLETATION OF URBAN STRUCTURE PRAGUE 7

The object of my diploma project is to design conceptual completion of urban structure in Prague 7 (st. Jateční, Komunardů, Tusarová and Na Maninách) while keeping couple of existing buildings with value. Suggested structure reflects traditional cultural values of architectural heritage (scale, material, rhythm and tectonics) Suggested modification of current state of the site enabled me to create (in the area of circa 1,7 hA) another of Holešovice's "inner worlds" by using the concept of inner space of the block which is public friendly (with regulated entrance). The block has different characters: on the outside where it looks more like city scale of Holešovice) whereas on the inside it seems to have small-town/village atmosphere - represented by alley lined with little housing with studios for artists combined with public park). Project also consists of new linear park Jateční leading to potential future public space by the river (which is intended by the city for future).
