Grippy is a compensatory utility for children and adults with fine motor skills disability. It is a gripping object which helps the user meet basic needs like eating or writing. It is not much of a complex shape. It provides a variety of possible grips and therefore can be used for both eating or writing, drawing, or possibly combing one‘s hair. Grippy is made of silicone, which allows the object to stay clean. Its benefit is that silicon is adhesive, therefore it is not slippery in a hand and also it can hold a pen or a cultery nicely. The purpose of this object is not only a plain aid, it is considered as a comforting object that can reliese stress and also help to manage basic needs. Grippy is meant to be helpful in one‘s specific activities and overall well being.
