VELESLAVÍN - WESTERN "GATE" TO PRAGUE

New planned area around Nádraží Veleslavín railway station is situated near the west border of Prague city. For this location is typical fragmentation of built-up are and complicated parmeability. Whole area misses order and recognizable face of urban area. Main point of this work is to establish order of built-up area and articulate notional gate of city.Whole project is separated in three diverse parts, which are focused on different aspects of the area. In these parts are more articulated ideas and way of thinking about it. Each of the parts is described with analytical part with possible function of every new building in the project.
