Palmovka Palace

Apartment building with a branch of the city library and shops at the Palmovka crossroads. The project is a building forming a block and delineating the area of the square in front of the Prague 8 new town hall. The urban concept is based on the creation of a park in the track of the former railway. The city library has a continuous main hall that unfolds along the park, the new library will serve Palmovka and Karlín districts. The apartment building has a cut out volume in the inner courtyard in the south, to which the balconies of the apartments are oriented. The proposed apartments are mostly of a higher standard, which corresponds to the location of the house in the center of Palmovka district.
