The seasonal affective disorder is a type of depression caused mainly by the change of seasons, in autumn and winter. Lack of daylight disrupts the human circadian rhythm. So people are more prone to depression and anxiety. Light therapy is to some extent able to supplement the sunshine deficit and alleviate or completely eliminate the conditions. Such devices are already on the market, but can only be used by an individual. So I designed a light for couples, which will be used by the couple in the morning for light therapy and for the rest of the day as ceiling lighting.
