Annotation
The thesis is about reconstruction of the Sokol Vyšehrad Building, located on Prague's Waterfront under Vyšehrad hill. The project deals with the restoration of the building to its original sports, cultural and social function in response to the rapid development of both banks of the Vltava river. The design aims to transform the building into a modern sports facility to meet the standards and trends of the 21st century by utilizing internal circulational rearrangement, adding the steel extension and connecting Vyšehrad hill with the waterfront.
