The Future of the Prefabricated Housing Estates

This thesis´ objective is to examine the ways to treat the public space of the prefabricated housing estates. The estate Jižní Město (South City) in Prague was used as an example. The thesis proposes three variants – the rebuilding of the Central park, adaptation of the estate´s boundaries and its connection with the center of the estate and the concept of estate´s densification in residual areas.
