Štvanice Island in Prague | 'Landscape for the City, Park for the People'

The Štvanice Island, thanks to its location in the closest proximity of the historical center of Prague and the main city cycleways as well as its Genius Loci that gives to it a hallmark of the Sport Island, has a great potential to become an important recreation node for the whole city of Prague. But today this potential is destroyed by the very poor urban linkages and uncomfortable accessibility. Thus the goal of mine in this project has been to support the existing positives, improve the negatives and create nice representative environs for prague rezidents. However I seek to do this per an economic sollution as in terms of money as in terms of disturbance of the surrounding life and traffic during the realization and primarily with the high respect to the Nature and Ecology.
