SOUTH TOWN I.

Jižní Město, perhaps the most famous housing estate in the Czech Republic, is a symbol of panel housing and sometimes it is looked down upon. However, in reality, South City provides a very pleasant place to live. The original project of the housing estate was very well thought out and designed. Unfortunately, there have been many changes over time and the result is very different from the original design. At the edge of interest are small and large areas between houses, which are, however, an integral part of living in the Southern Town. My proposal therefore deals with these areas and their maintenance. Instead of radical concepts and design visions, I propose gradual, smaller modifications that will be sustainable both from a financial and ecological point of view.
