Conversion of Piett´s paper factory in Pilsen

The site of a now dysfunctional paper mill in the City of Plzen is the focus of this diploma project. The location is based on an analysis of the historical development of the City, critical observations of contemporary conditions and identification of specific deficiencies in the overall city. The paper mill site is one of the identified sites and therefore has been selected for the focus of the diploma work. The Primary mission of this work is to reintegrate the site into the City as a functional and contributing, sustainable district.
