BRICKFIELD IN PŘÍDOLÍ

This diploma thesis deals with the restoration of the craft production of ceramic products in South Bohemian region near Český Krumlov. The brickyard is currently dilapidated and without swift action it will prerish completely, even with its rich history. The design restores dilapidated buildings, including the furnace, and adds a complex and compact production area, which helps the stability and long-term sustainability of the project. Part of the project is contact with the public and the transfer of experience and knowledge through weekend workshops.
