Annotation

Urban planning and architectural design of the wider area of the former railway depot of the Masaryk railway station renews and strengthens urban linkages in the form of the lines and main axes of the city, passing through the territory. The design connects the city districts on the edges of the rails. Thanks to the transfer of the commuter rail services into the passable model (like S-Bahn) with the main railway junction on the Hlavní nádraží, it creates a boulevard in the historical track of the historic New Town walls. In the historical track crosses the boulevard a park line, that approximates the mountain of Vítkov to the city. In this major urban crossing lines there is created the Railway museum with a fixed link to the Prašná brána, standing as a conterweight on the other side of the Hybernská street.
