Cisarsky Island - Prague

The main topic of the project is a complete regenerationof the Cisarsky Island with the direct link to both river banks and all the spaces alongside the Vltava river. Troja valley and the island itself both represent significant and unique landmarks which brings into question lot of different strategies for the future development of this area. There is a big concentration of water features,vegetation and other natural element that were preserved throughout the time and it gives this area a rare setting with the use of both natural and urban qualities. New proposal has to follow the regulations set by water treatment plant which is currently occupying large proportion of the island and also has to consider its location in the flood zone. With all this in mind, the only suitable concept is such that respects all these conditions and in the same time offers a long term vision for this area.
