City Spa

The subject of this diploma project is design of new health and wellness spa on Smíchov waterfront next to the railway bridge.  The aim of this project was to create an appropriate completion of the park and of the waterfront panorama, to retain connection between the city and the river and to support recreational use of this locality. The designed building has 4 floors and 2 basements and is divided into two volumes –  spa and restaurant part.The spa offers combination of sport activities, relaxation and therapeutic procedures. The main spaces are oriented towards attractive views. Perforated facade provides different levels of inner space intimacy and it also keeps its connection with the exterior.
