PRIJUT 11 - mountain hut on Elbrus

The aim of the diploma project is to build on the nearly century-old tradition of accommodation by designing a new hut, involving the preserved object "Dieselhut" from 1939. All in the altitude of 4000m.The project defines a spatial articulation with respect to specific natural environment, it responds to the challenges arising from the extreme location and reflects difficult climatic conditions, the need for renewable energy sources and specific method of construction and supply.
