Annotation
New university campus in Aachen comes to existence. RWTH University, city Aachen and German Funds for Industrial Development invest into the educatioanl-research centre. It is the largest university project in Europe. Masterplan of Melaten area became from public competition. The campus consists of buildings for education, offices, student accommodation, sport centres, restaurants, retail and also building for children education. The aim was to design children daycare centre with kindergarten next to the local park.
