This diploma thesies deals with the desig of a mammographic device for X-ray examination of breast tissue and its surroundings. The tesies investigates the comfort and discomfort of patients during the examination. The aim od this thesies is to reveal possible solutions that would relieve patients from the fear of the examination. The operation of the machine by the radiology assistant and the emphasis on ease of use are also examined.
