Annotation

I perceive a dog shelter as a shared space between people and animals where everyone should feel comfortable. How to empathize with a dog? And how to accept the fact that this is a temporary dog prison, no matter how good the intention is? The theme of the thesis is an exploration of needs of the dogs and staff. The aim of the thesis is to meet them in the form of a place that offers maximum comfort to the people, but most importantly to the dogs that come to the shelter, so that they can recover properly and return to life behind the walls as quickly as possible. I also address related phenomena such as exterior living, sharing, and finding a balanced relationship between openness and closedness to the public and the quantity of socialization and privacy for the dog.
