Kindergarten in a Gap

We got assigned couple of lots placed all around the city Mělník. They are unused and underestimated places that deserve a new life. This particular gap is located in the city centre of Mělník, right next to the Náměstí Míru square, on the Legionářů street. Because of this location there are regulations about number of floors - maximum 2 aboveground floors and an attic - and a requirement for a sloping roof to the side where the street is. Besides that, the building keeps alined with the street line and tries to connect to the ledges of the following houses. The kindergarten spaces form utility and shared rooms and 2 separated classrooms, each for 24 children. Also, there are spaces in the attic with separated entrance for additional function, i.e. music and art classes.
