Prague Embankments - Study Hall Vltava

The bachelor´s thesis focuses on creating a study room direstly on the water surface of the Vltava River at Dvořák Embankment in Prague. The goal is to revitalize the currently unused space and provide students from nearby schools, such as Law Faculty and High School with the opportunity to study and work in a pleasant environment that is currently lacking, The proposed solution includes functional and aestetic elements that are tailored to the needs of the students. The study room would provide a quiet environment from work with a view of the Vltava River and the panorama of Prague Castle. The outcome of the thesis is a detailed design of the Stuhy Hall Vltava which will bring life and utilization to the potential of Dvořák Embankment on the Vltava River,thus strengthening the relationship between the local community and surrounding area.
