Annotation

In Prague's district of Hradčany, there used to be a very specific hollow space, created as a result of many radical and sometimes reckless interventions into the local urban structure, leaving the historical square with a somewhat unfinished character. Therefore, the gap is filled with an ordinary school. Five „stones“, each with a different nature, yet forming a whole, respecting the multiform context into which it enters. Keplerova Elementary School rises equally side by side among its neighbours. It finishes the school block and provides a welcoming and contemporary environment not only for children. The Pohořelec square is now given back its greatness.
