Palliative Care Řevnice

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the first stage of a house for palliative care located in Řevnice under the St. Moritz Church. The building is divided into 2 parts. Part A with one floor above ground, which is used for outpatient care and part B with inpatient care on the ground floor and the administration of the facility together with rooms for families of patients in the attic. Under both parts there is a basement with a kitchen, laundry, technical facilities and garages. The proposed shape was intended to preserve and complement the panorama of the historic core of Řevnice, along with preserving the dominant view of St. Moritz Church, which opens to passers-by from Pražská Street. The mass of the buildings and their location is related to the local original courtyard development. There is a combination of the traditional gable roofscape with flat roofs that release views of the church.
