School in Africa

This thesis works closely with the Center Narovinu and is designed for the community (Sunrise Academy) living on the island of Rusinga Island, Kenya in Africa. The purpose of this project is to design a school campus, which will be used by approximately 300 children and also by local residents. The biggest emphasis is placed on the energy modesty, on the autonomy of the building and on the renewable materials. A respect of a local climate is also very important.
