THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE COMMUNITY CENTRE REPRE IN MOST

This diploma thesis is devoted to the reconstruction of the community centre Repre, revitalization and completion of adjacent public spaces. The building of the community centre is a valuable building from the period of brutalism. The aim was to come up with a proposal for a sensitive reconstruction that will preserve all the qualities of the building, improve the functionality of some already obsolete services and at the same time will be easy to implement without the need for major interventions in the supporting structure of the building. For the adjacent public space, a solution was sought that will allow the building to stand out while inviting public to stay and spend time. The proposal itself was preceded by an analytical part in which the project of the currently planned reconstruction was examined in detail.
