The diploma thesis deals with the topic of interior lighting with a focus on the use of the biophilic design principle to improve mental health of the users. In its design, the Platycerium superbum plant is used as the main shading element, which is complemented by a biodynamic light source to achieve a reconnection with nature, which is absent in modern times.
