SPORT CENTER ŽIŽKOV

The site is located in the middle of a courtyard in Žižkov. The proposed building provides facilities for various sports, which are currently lacking in the area. The aim was to minimize disruption to the existing courtyard structure, so the sports halls and facilities are partially embedded into the terrain. Beneath them, a high-capacity parking area will help free up space in the surrounding streets. The building’s roof features a park that enhances the microclimate and offers a peaceful place for relaxation. A passageway connects the courtyard and provides a view into the main sports hall.
