Professional Assistant
In this studio, we continue along the chosen path, in focused work and joint searching for the form and material for real assignments that we choose for students where needed. Together we want to answer the questions of our surroundings by exploring the place, its memory, relations to the surrounding environment or landscape and life in the given moment. The aim is to make the work functional, technically witty and intelligent, financially efficient and beautiful.
We view studio teaching as a space for creative work with rational inputs. We want to teach students how to create from the “intangible” materials of creativity, individual energy, knowledge and emotions – and thus, in the given time, to elevate the place entrusted to us for living. Our preferred methods on our path to a design are good analysis and on-site drawings, revealing sketches, and physical models arising in the process. The process is as important to us as the result.
