Introvert sauna

Sauna for one person located on the construction of a former guard tower of the border guard near the village of Palič in the Cheb region. The tower was used to guard the state border during the previous regime. It was the tower that became the symbol of the Iron Curtain that passed through this area. The curtain fell, the structure remained. I transformed the symbol of repression and tragedy to a place for individual recreation. The building is designed as a temporary and very cheap structure until the tower is reconstructed and rebuilt into a memorial to the victims of the Iron Curtain. Due to the poor technical condition of the tower structure, the sauna is designed to be as light as possible. The structure is made of wooden prisms wrapped in a polycarbonate facade.
