Row houses, New Garden District, Modřany
Annotation
My task was to design the row houses in a new garden district in Modřany. The main concepts are a division of the mass, a connection between the street and the gardens and a support of communication between the neighbours. The main material used for the construction is concrete which provides the neatness of the figure and minimizes the number of doors and windows. The houses are in a relationship with the gardens. The gardens' layout preserves them from impairing the neatness of the houses, they only complete them. There is the main entrance, a garage for two vehicles and the facilities on the first floor. The second floor provides the living space which is divided by function with a straight staircase. On the last floor there is a bedroom, a children's bedroom and two bathrooms.
