Community Senior Center Bělčice

Belcice is a small town in the South Bohemian Region. The task was to design a community center for the elderly on a plot of land bordering the square. I chose an experimental solution without an obvious connection to the original or surrounding buildings. The proposed building consists of a complex mass. The building is divided into two parts - the northern part is reserved for public spaces and a day hospital, the southern part of the building consists of a residential section. A garden of recreational and agricultural character is designed on the slope. One of the main motives of the design is to work with pitched roofs, as a characteristic element of otherwise relatively difficult to grasp rural architecture.
