Silo Holešovice

Silo in Prague 7 is a reminiscence of industrial past of Holešovice. It is located on the riverbank of Vltava in a belt of greenery enclosing the river. The conversion aims to create a place to stop by, while walking by the waterfront and to enjoy the view to other parts of the city. The construction is light wooden frame with polycarbonate panels, which are bringing light into the disposition as well as let the light from the interior through. The aim is to create a new point of orientation, a "lighthouse" on the bank of the river.
