Sauna and Špačkárna

The border towers are a remnant and a witness to the events of World War II. They were scattered several hundred meters apart across the border. Several dozen preserved pieces have been relocated and today participate in the panorama of the landscape. Subtle structures built to minimal dimensions create rational construction works with a certain tasteful value. Most of them are without further use, decaying. One of them is located near the village of Palič in southwestern Bohemia, 10 km from the town of Cheb. The design addresses the new use of the existing tower, supplemented by another tower.
