"The most sustainable building is the one that has already been built." This statement captures the core idea of my proposal, which focuses on adapting and preserving old industrial buildings. Why demolish when existing structures can still serve new purposes? My project involves the transformation of an industrial hall from the second half of the 20th century. Although it may not be as unique as some other historical buildings, it possesses its own charm and potential. As part of the revitalization, I am considering a new use for the hall – for instance, as a simple parking structure that would help address the parking challenges in the developing Pragovka district.
