City Palace Palmovka

The design of the apartment building with a cinema is located on the site of the Prague 8 district – Palmovka. The design of this seven-story city palace is located on the corner of the crossroads. The main idea of the design is to combine two functions – entertainment and living into one mass that will respond well to the environment, especially, to the former place of the Jewish cemetery near the building. The cinema hall is designed in the shape of a rectangle with a capacity of 220 spectators. The foyer is connected to a generous cafe, which has a stage, a small dance floor, and a residential staircase that connects the cafe to the mezzanine. The apartment building begins on the 2nd floor and continues up to the 7th floor with comprising of 17 apartments on each floor.
