Annotation

A set of pavilions for the purposes of the Institute of Botany - Department of Experimental Garden and Collection of Aquatic and Wetland Plants located in Třeboň. The construction program consists of indoor and outdoor exhibits for the public and a research facility. The Collection of Aquatic and Wetland Plants of the Institute of Botany was established gradually since 1976 and served mainly for scientific purposes. Today, it has a small specialized botanical garden character and is open to students and the general public. The main activities of the Collection include the maintenance of cultures of endangered plants, cooperation with nature conservation authorities, and botanical gardens in the Czech Republic and abroad.
