Lanškroun campus

I designed a school campus with a dormitory for high school students in the city of Lanškroun. These new buildings should replace the current accommodation. The plot is placed in a calm locality in the northern part of the town. In the closest area you can find family houses and apartment buildings. The main goal was to fullfill the capacity requirements and to add some other very important functions to the building. Among those other functions belong: a grocery shop, a buffet, rooms for sport, a library and a big canteen. The main concept was: The building is divided four wings that fullfil their tasks each and these buildings are placed according to the degree of privacy they offer. These wings are connected by an individual building, which also represents a dominant part in my design.
