Housing in Žižkov

Design of apartment building in new block in Žižkov. Concept of this house is based on an irregular shape of the site. The north facing walls are moved back from the site boarder so they can create right-angled living space. This enables to create triangular shaped loggias. The characteristic part of the design is separate concreate structure, which articulates the whole north facade. The building is articulated horizontally by dark concreate slabs and vertically by fair concreate columns. The design should offer pleasant living space in the center of Prague. There are different sized apartments suitable for various social groups. The residents can use shared courtyard and underground garage.
