Bubny wetland

Annotation

The Bubny district located in the north of Prague on the left bank of Vltava river is a part of Prague 7 quarter and neighbours districts Letná and Holešovice. The history of the area goes long back. First, there was a fishermen village called Bubny. Then in the 19th century, Bubny train station is constructed, and Bubny becomes part of Prague. Since the local industry had been on a decline, a vast area of former warehouses around the station are more or less abandoned and became a brownfield. Currently, this place has the potential to connect again, but this time it would connect people, nature and the city.
