KRÁLÍKY - TIMBER HOUSE UNDER THE MOUNTAIN OF MOTHER OF GOD

The proposal seeks to restore the original character of the building and thus help to partially preserve the values of the local landscape under the Králický Sněžník. The solved House stood here already in the middle of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century it underwent radical modifications. After that, the building was abandoned and dilapidated at the end of the 20th century. About 20 years ago, the house was saved and renovated. However, these modifications did not respect the original expression of the building and traditional technology. The design therefore seeks an ideal solution that also meets the functional needs and respects the local expression of vernacular architecture.
