ZAHRÁDKY - RESIDENTIAL BUILDING IN THE FORMER BREWERY

The brewery complex in Zahrádky near Česká Lípa from the 16th century, which has not been used since 1927 and only fell into disrepair, was demolished in 2008, leaving only a cellar, a chimney and a south wall. The aim of the design was to restore this area and build a new building that will preserve the memory of the past but will not be a copy of the former building. In my work, I focused on the building of the former brewery and created a residential building on the former floor plan, which will retain the remains of the destroyed building.
