LIVING AT THE RIVER

Now there is a road on the plot at a height of about 4 m above the river. Most of the land is currently used for greenery and parking. There is a dilapidated hostel in Havlíčkova Street, which is intended for demolition as part of this study. The main intention of the project was to reduce the level of the pedestrian road closer to the river and create a courtyard that will enliven the site with civic amenities on the ground floor and on the embankment and at the same time allow maximum interconnection of both levels. It is an apartment building with a common basement. In Havlíčkova Street, there is an apartment building with a staircase layout on the ground. The embankment is built up by loggias, whose masses clearly and at the same time non-violently define the edge of river bank.
