Hospital of the Future

In the future, a new district will grow in Prague's Letňany. In the heart of which will be a large hospital complex. In this space, I design a compact hospital complex, which leaves enough space on the plot for an active public space as well as for the future development of the complex. The hospital inside contains two courtyards forming a protected exterior space for both the patients and the staff. The volume of the hospital consists of a two-storey base with the main treatment components, above which the buildings of ambulances and inpatient units protrude. In my design, I focus on the comprehension and interconnectedness of the hospital's internal functions for the public and staff, and I try to create a healthy and clean environment that evokes a feeling of peace, trust and security.
