Salt and Pepper

For this assignment I designed a salt and pepper shaker. I made them in the same style as my candle holders for the first assignment. You can stack them two ways, one will form a hourglass and the other one a simple whole. Next, it is made out of ceramics and glazed in two different colours to recognize the salt and the pepper easily. The salt shaker has a whiter glaze with some greyish flecks. The pepper shaker is darker grey with white specks. Another way to recognize them is the amount of holes. The pepper shaker has less holes than the salt shaker. The shakers are closed with a simple cork that you push in and pull out when it needs a refill. They can’t be made out of one piece. But using 2 identical pieces made out of a two part mold.
