Big cities have tendency to grow bigger and bigger, to which Prague is no exemption. This causes urbanistic challenges, even more difficult ones for Prague with her historical character and "distrust" of anything resembling a skyscraper.
To answer the demand for increased density in city center creative approaches must be put into work.
In the studio this term we´ve developed one of these challenging designs - to build a city above rails.
A considerable part of the work was consacreted to urban aspects and analysis, then we progressed to individual designs, in my case an exhibition hall with office spaces build on double exoskelet grid, a construction system which gives the building its unique facades.
