BUŠTĚHRAD - MULTICULTURAL CENTER

This project in the old cellars of brewery of BUŠTĚHRAD welcomes a multicultural center underground and a coffee on the hill. It is composed of a cinema and a theatre in the biggest vaults. The narrowest vaults host exhibitions, and in the back part of the brewery, there is a restaurant in 2 floors, with a kitchen down, and a eating area upstairs. Every spaces of the cellars are avaible for disable people. To link the underground with the top, there are different vertical circulations, growing out of the hill creating a frame for the urban public space outside. Their are inspired from the “folies” of La Vilette park, in a simplier cubic volumetry.The public space drawn by this elements are composed of a dugged flat area that could welcome summer event.
