BŘEVNOV COMMUNITY CENTRE

The task was to design a community center in the heart of Brevnov, which will include space for seniors, children and, in fact, every inhabitant of the wider area. The plot is located near the main road Bělohorská. Between the highly used area of playgrounds and Kutnauer's Square. Currently, the land is unmaintained and full of wild greenery. Therefore, it would be appropriate to use this easily accessible place in some way and not let it lie idle. The house was designed to correspond with the surrounding area and attract all generations to visit. Thanks to its shape, the house defines part of the public space and thus creates a safe place, which gives visitors a sense of privacy.
