Bus station Kutná Hora

Kutná Hora as a city not only for tourists. In my project I deal with the design of a bus station, which has the task of serving both locals and tourists. The bus station consists of two simple blocks (public toilets and facilities with a waiting room and a cafe with a newsagent) and a covered area of bus stops. The somewhat simple architecture is dominated by a roof made of triangular cassettes, designed from wooden beams and supported by embedded steel columns. Skylights give the space under the roof a feeling of airiness and lightness, which imaginarily guide us towards the bus or train station.
