Glasses for photobiomodulation therapy

In this project we will focus on medical application of light, specifically on therapy by photobiomodulation. Recent studies have shown that the application of 670 nm of red light alters the course of eyesight ageing. Patients subjected to 670 nm red light showed regression of drusen (tiny yellow or white accumulations in the eye that degenerate the eye functionality) and improvement in visual functions. Particularly it showed impressive results for patients over 40 years old and people with eye degradation due to diabetes-mellites.
