PŘEDLICE RECYCLED

The Předlice is a peripheral part of the city of Ústí nad Labem. At the turn of the millennium, industry in the region is gradually declining and the zone is currently becoming a brownfield, and Nové Předlice has become an excluded locality for the socially disadvantaged. The chemical company Spolchemie and morphology of terrain is a barrier between the city and Předlice. Due to the ecological problems of the whole region and the nearby ecological faculty of UJEP, the industrial zone is regenerated in the project by locating a plant for decontamination of remediation soil, which is creating a new center. The proposal envisages a backbone pedestrian connection between Milada and Ústí.
